1. The service
Tacca is a digital journal for logging climbing and training, reviewing your progress and taking part in community features. Features may change over time.
2. Account
You must provide accurate information, protect access to your email and use a single personal account. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account, except for unauthorised use that you report to us promptly.
3. Safety and health
Tacca does not provide diagnoses, prescriptions or medical advice. Climbing and training involve risks: use suitable equipment, follow the gym’s rules, rely on competent supervision and stop if you feel pain or unwell.
4. Community content
You keep ownership of the content you publish. You grant Tacca a limited, non-exclusive licence, as needed to host, process and display it within the service. Do not publish material that is illegal, offensive, dangerous, misleading or that infringes the rights of others.
5. Community rules (The wall rules)
Tacca is built by climbers: routes, photos and grades are shared with your gym. That is why a few rules apply, the same ones you accept in the app:
- no offensive or abusive content;
- no dangerous or illegal content, and no misleading information;
- no content taken from others or that infringes anyone’s rights, photos included.
Whoever breaks the rules is removed: we delete the content and may suspend or close the account. We review every report within 24 hours. In the app you can report a route and block whoever published it.
You accept these terms and the community rules in the app, during sign-up, with “I accept the terms of use and the community rules”. We record the version you accepted (2026-10-18) and the date. If the terms change in substance, the version changes and we will ask you to accept them again.
6. Moderation
We review every report within 24 hours and may restrict or remove content and accounts that break these terms or put the service at risk. Users can report routes and block other climbers directly in the app.
7. Availability and changes
We aim for a reliable service, but maintenance, network issues and third-party services may cause interruptions. We may change features and terms; if a change is significant, we will give reasonable notice.
8. Closing your account
You can delete your account from the app at any time. We may suspend an account in case of abuse, security risk or serious violations, in compliance with applicable law.
9. Payments
Tacca is free: there are no purchases or subscriptions. If we introduce them in the future, we will describe price, renewal, cancellation and refunds here before turning them on.
10. Contact
For anything about these terms, write to support@taccaclimb.com. These terms do not limit the rights that consumer law in your country gives you.
